The Manhattan Beach Civic Association Community Meeting was called to order at 8:06 p.m. by Brandon Twentymon.

PRESIDENT STATEMENT

New sign has been installed in front of the Clubhouse
Audio/Visual system has been installed in the clubhouse
◦ Brandon Twentymon and Brett Bowman completed the competitive bid process and received three quotes
◦ Total cost came in under budget
Speed Enforcement
Off duty police officers will start enforcing speed limit

OAK GROVE BEACH

No changes.  Board will continue to rely on attorney’s recommendations

DIVIDING BEACH

Permits have been received but need a 3rd quote to complete the competitive bid process

MAGOTHY MARINA

Brandon Twentymon spoke with the owner who stated she will be receiving quotes to complete the repairs to the pier shortly.

TREASURERS REPORT

Tax Benefit: $138,933
General Fund:  $91,645
Financial statements for FY2016 have been submitted to the county.  Once approved, they will release our current assessments due
Files with historical budget data have been posted to the MCBA Website.

2017 BUDGET

Mike Frye made a motion to pass budget as presented.
Budget passed unanimously
