The Manhattan Beach Civic General Meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Brandon Twentymon.
PRESIDENT STATEMENT
No major updates since last meeting.
Had to spend $200 on new trash cans
Has hired two teenage residents from Manhattan Beach to take trash cans in/out for pickup – $50/month

Brandon Twentymon’s scheduled meeting with our counsel was rescheduled

CLUBHOUSE

Patio Installation

• Received two quotes and was unable to have a contractor to come out to the site and complete submit a third quote.
• Chavez Landscaping will most likely be awarded the contract and was significantly less than the competing bid.
• Patio installation is estimated to be 5 – 6 days.  Will include the following:
• 1,000 square feet of patio area
  • Fire pit – will be restricted to community use only.  Renters will not be able to use this feature.
  • Charcoal grill
  • Replace chain-link fence
  • Remove concrete pad and move sandbox.

GOOD OF THE ORDER

• Lynn Dorsey stated that there was a large number of dead trees along the walking path between Gordon and Rausell.  Is there a way to clean up that area?
  • The Board is considering hiring a tree service company to remove threatening trees from certain locations throughout the neighborhood.
  • Will also inform the community through Facebook page that the company will offer discounts to any residents who would like tree work completed while the company’s trucks are in the neighborhood.
